Barbara will be your tutor. This one-day workshop is the first in a series of online mixed media Gel Plate printing courses, which will be scheduled over the coming months. These workshops present a unique opportunity to get to grips with all mono printing on a gel pate - and all it entails.  

You will work together, in 2 LIVE online sessions on Saturday 18th October 2025:

Session 1 - 9am - 12pm
Session 2 - 2pm - 4pm

If you are unable to attend the live session, don't worry. As with all our online courses, you can revisit the sessions any time - you have the key to this course forever.

Printmaking with a Gel Plate is part of the joyfully unpredictable world of mono printing. Even if you follow the same steps, no two prints will ever be alike—each one is a true original.

In this workshop, we’ll be exploring alcohol inks and discovering how beautifully they can be used on a Gel Plate. We’ll start gently on a smaller 6x6 inch Gel Plate - less daunting and easier to manage. Of course, everything you learn can be applied to any size Gel printing plate. This workshop is all about learning the processes, so you can really focus on mastering the technique. 

We will create beautiful, inky landscapes as we learn, and we will use lovely scene-building Claritystamps to further enhance those scenes.  

Once you enrol, you’ll be invited into our private Inner Circle platform, where you can access the course, connect with fellow students, and join the Q&A room to ask questions anytime.
